The Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI), Myanmar Pulses, Beans, Maize and Sesame Seeds Merchants Association (MPBMSMA), Overseas Agro Traders Association (OATA Myanmar) and India-Myanmar Chamber of Commerce (IMCC) jointly organized the World Pulses Day on 10th February 2025 at the UMFCCI Headquarters, Mingalar Hall.

The event was attended by the Presidents and members of UMFCCI, MPBMSMA, OATA, IMCC and affiliate associations, the Ambassador of Nepal, the Deputy Head of Mission of India, the Head of Mission of Malaysia, local and foreign Chambers of Commerce, officials from banks, shipping lines and commodity inspection team, and special guests, totaling around (200) people.

The ceremony was opened by lighting a lamp, delivering welcoming remarks, and the guests were treated to dishes made with various pulses.
